Saving the Measurement Results
Saving the Measurement Results
You can save measurement results from the WDM chan-
nel analyzer on the built-in 3.5” disk drive.
The data is saved in a comma-separated-variable (CSV)
format. It can be read by many common spreadsheet
programs by indicating that the data file is a
.csv
file.
Saved data will start with the date and time, and include
the setup information and the wavelength and power
data. For an example of the data saved, see the printout
included in
“Printing Measurement Results” on
.
Each press of the STORE key will create a new file. File
names are generated automatically in numerical
sequence. The file name format is
nnnn.csv
, where
n
is
the sequential number. A maximum of 256 files can be
saved on a disk. When the disk is full, any partially writ-
ten file will be deleted and you will be instructed to
insert a new disk.
