Materials Test Equipment

16451B Dielectric Test Fixture

For dielectric constant evaluation of solid materials such as poly-
mer, electric insulator, PC board, ceramic substrate, etc., use the
16451B dielectric test fixture with any Agilent four-terminal-pair
LCR meter or impedance analyzer up to 30 MHz. The 16451B has
four types of electrodes which can be replaced according to sample
size or measurement technique. Stray admittance and residual imped-
ance of the test fixture can be eliminated by the OPEN/SHORT error
correction function of the measurement instrument by using the 
furnished OPEN/SHORT attachments.

16452A Liquid Test Fixture

For convenient testing of liquids, use the 16452A liquid test fixture
with any four-terminal-pair LCR meter or impedance analyzer. With
the 16452A, you will be able to measure permittivity and impedance
characteristics of liquid materials like plastic resins, or petrochemi-
cal products. The fixture has inlet/outlet ports which allow continu-
ous measurements of liquids flowing in a process monitoring
environment. The internal cell allows accurate measurements to be
performed on a small amount of liquid samples.
