Scan Control – settings pane
The settings pane lets you change individual settings for a selected slide. To change settings, the
slide must not be in the scan queue. For more information on the settings available in this table,
see
“Scan Protocol Editor dialog box”
Scan Settings
Displays scan settings from the assigned scan protocol. To change a setting, click next to the
setting name and select a new value from the list. For more information, see
Image Settings
Some data analysis programs have specific requirements for the images. This section lets you
change how the image is created from the scan. For more information, see

Settings
Shows selections for how the program names scan files. For more information, see

Description
In this area, you can type information about the microarray slide or scan. This information
becomes part of the file information that can be displayed in the Feature Extraction program.
User
In this area, you can type information about the operator who set up and performed the
microarray scans. This information becomes part of the file information that can be displayed in
the Feature Extraction program.
