Cooling System
After mowing for longer periods of time, clogging
of plants and dust may occur in the cooling sy-
stem. Sustained operation with the cooling system
clogged lets the engine heat up and causes da-
mage.
Clean engine only with a brush or compressed
air. Do not spray with water.
l
Always check cooling-air screen (B/11) and re-
move dirt and plants sucked in: Take off cooling-
air screen and clean with a brush or compressed
air.
l
Clean fan system after every 100 hours of ope-
ration or at least once per year, preferably before
the season starts. Take off fan case and clean
cooling fins on both, cylinder and cylinder head,
in addition to the fins and cooling-air screen.
