It is ESSENTIAL to read the safety instructions before reading the
practical instructions for hitching and unhitching the machines
No-one must be within 50 metres of the machine while it is being folded or
unfolded
4/ Connect the drawbar cylinder's hoses.
5/ Lift the ring above the level of the tractor's hitch.
6/ Hitch the tractor to the MAXIMULCH.
7/ Retract the parking stands if the machine is fitted with them.
8/ Connect the braking system
9/ Connect the lighting system
10/ Connect the other folding and locking hoses if the machine folds.
11/ Perform a braking test after hitching (if the machine has brakes).
12/ Ensure that everything is correctly connected and locked and that no there are no
foreign bodies on the machine.
Parking:
1/ Ensure that the machine is unhitched on stable ground.
2/ Unlock the machine before unfolding it.
3/ Unfold the machine if it folds.
4/ Lower the machine with the drawbar and the trailed or semi-mounted kit.
5/ Disconnect the hydraulic hoses if the machine is fitted with them. If you are using a towing
hook, disconnect the hydraulic hoses last to be able to adjust the height of the drawbar.
6/ Disconnect the plug for the lighting equipment.
7/ Unhitch the machine.
2.1.3. Folding - Unfolding
If you have a folding Maximulch, take care when folding or unfolding. Refer to the relevant section.
Take into account the clearance during transport, in particular to ensure that there is
room to pass under bridges and low power lines (e.g. MAXIMULCH 6.5M)
On tractor-mounted machines, the drawbar must be hitched to the top holes on the
lower arms. This improves the stability of the machine when working.
Before folding or unfolding check that there are no foreign bodies that
could hinder movement
