This chapter contains information on how to:
•
start up your machine
•
check if the machine needs to be mounted on or hitched to the tractor.
•
Before starting up the machine, the user must have read and understood the user
manual.
•
Read the chapter "Settings and use" starting on page 33, which deals with:
ο
hitching and unhitching the machine
ο
transporting the machine
ο
using the machine

Be sure to hitch and move the machine solely using a tractor that is suited for this
purpose.
•
The tractor and machine must be in compliance with the highway code applicable
in your country.
•
The vehicle owner (operator) and driver (user) are responsible for complying with
the highway code applicable in their country.
WARNING
Accidents may occur involving crushing, shearing, cuts, pinching or trapping in
the vicinity of hydraulically- or electrically-controlled components.
Do not obstruct the controls on the tractor when they are used to directly control
elements using hydraulic or electrical systems, e.g. any processes involving
folding/unfolding, pivoting or sliding. The corresponding movement must be
automatically interrupted if the associated control mechanism is released. This does
not apply to the movements of devices that:
•
function continuously,
•
are automatically regulated, or
•
must have a floating position or pressure position, depending on the
circumstances.
