Be careful if the device is filled with hot water. Do not touch the casing of the
kettle, nor hold your hands above the steam that comes out from under the jar
cover. Take the kettle only by the bail. Do not open the device jar cover while
water is boiling. Be careful when opening the jar cover immediately after boiling
water: hot steam will come out of the device. Hot water can cause severe burns.
•
Be looking after the children when moving the kettle filled with boiling water.
•
Raise the container for sterilization and for steaming and the kettle only
by the bail. Do not fill the device above the maximum level mark. Water
should cover the bottom of the tank; otherwise, the water may evaporate
leaving the device without water.
•
The heating element retains residual heat after use. Do not move the
device if there is hot water in it. Condensation may form on the jar cover
and the bottom base (stand) of the device. This is normal and does not
affect the operation of the device.
•
Be sure to check the temperature of the milk warmed up in the device
and baby food before feeding the baby!
•
After repeated use, scale may appear on the internal walls of the device
and the surface of the heating element depending on the hardness of the
water used. The harder the water is used, the faster the scaling is formed.
The scale can be of different colors. Although the scale is harmless, its
excessive amount can affect the operation of the device. In order to main
-
tain optimum performance, clean the device regularly, as described in the
«descaling» section.
•
Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the kettle and allow the device to cool
down, if necessary.
•
The device has protection against overheating and switching on with-
out water. The device automatically turns off when trying to turn on the
device if there is not enough water in it or it is completely absent.
•
If you do not plan to use the kettle for a long time, unplug it from the
mains, drain the water and allow the device to cool (if required) and dry.
•
When disconnecting the device from the mains pull the plug and do not the cable.
•
Keep the device out of the reach of children. Do not allow children to use
the device as a toy.
•
If any malfunctions are detected, stop using the device and contact a
specialized service center. Do not attempt to repair the device by yourself.
•
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by non-observance
of safety regulations, as well as a result of the improper or unintended
use of this instruction.
