PPPoE line may be cheap, but you can get disconnected often. If you want to keep your network
connection stable, use more than two lines and set multiple PPPoE ports.
Note
When using multiple ISP lines, select more than one ISPs. If you use multiple lines, but one ISP only,
you may not be able to use all the lines when there is a problem in yoru ISP’s line.
Use More Than 2 PPPoE Lines
There are times when you get disconnected from your online banking service. When it happens, go to
Network > Routng > Multipath Routing
and change the
Load Balancing
to
Source IP Address
.
In a Terminal, use the
set_gw_check
command to check the gateway status. If a problem occurs in the
gateway, do not use the line until the problem is solved.
Note
If you set the PPPoE interface and connect to the network, TrusGuard will automatically get the
gateway information, so you do not need to set the routing.
Uncheck
HTTPS

if possible. PPPoE interface is usually used to connect to an
external network like the Internet. There is no reason to allow access to TrusGuard’s administrative
interface from an external network.
