Remove condensation from glass doors.
▶ Check under and in front of the appliance for the formation of puddles.
▶ Remove leaking defrost water immediately.

Safe handling of glass doors and glass elements

Do not install appliances with multi-pane insulating glass in altitudes above 2000
m. Multi-pane insulating glass may break due to the difference in air pressure.
▶ Pay attention to open passageways when the glass doors are open.
▶
Do not place loads on the glass doors.
▶ Do not open the glass doors beyond an opening angle of 90°.
▶ Do not push a shopping trolley against a glass door that is opened or closed.
▶ Inspect for damage to the glass elements (fissures, cracks, breakage). If there is
any damage, contact maintenance services (see

Chapter 10.4).
▶ It is prohibited to store glass containers in freezers.

Disposal of broken glass. Cutting injuries on the hands.
▶ Wear protective gloves to remove shattered glass fragments and any products
damaged by it.
▶ Carefully and completely remove all shattered glass fragments and damaged
products.
Dispose of shattered glass fragments in an environmentally appropriate manner.
