Aibot X6 V2, Operation
3.4.9
RC Lost Failsafe
CAUTION
Sensors may provide wrong data
A malfunction may occur if the environmental information is inconsistent or not
comprehensive. The functionality of some Safety Features relies on the infor-
mation of one or more of the following sensors: Pressure Sensor, Ultrasonic
Sensor, GPS, Magnetic Compass.
Precautions:
•
Be aware that sensors may provide wrong data and always be ready to take
over manual control.
Safety Features
In case the Aibot X6 V2 looses communication link with the RC transmitter, it
automatically runs the configured lost communication failsafe procedure. Refer
to AiProFlight user manual for further information on the configuration). All
procedures interrupt automatically once the communication link is re-estab-
lished or if the Battery failsafe conditions are reached.
Failsafe configuration Position Hold
•
If the Aibot X6 V2 cannot re-establish its connection, it remains in this posi-
tion until an emergency landing is executed due to a low battery voltage.
Failsafe configuration Coming Home
•
The Aibot X6 V2 changes its altitude to the pre-set Coming Home Altitude
while simultaneously rotating along its yaw axis.
•
Once the altitude is reached, the Aibot X6 V2 performs a Coming Home to
the takeoff location while rotating along its yaw axis.
•
The Aibot X6 V2 remains for 120 seconds at the Coming Home location.
•
After that, the Aibot X6 V2 will perform an automatic landing at the current
location.
