Case:
Impact-resistant polysulphone with scratch-resistant Lexan ™ front label. Size 4.5” x
6.5” x 2.0”, Weight less than 16 ounces (454 grams).
FlowCell:
Approved P-1700 Polysulfone materials and 304 stainless steel sensing probes.
Shape is a modified elbow, approximately 3” x 2.5” suitable for use with all 5/8” ID
milk hose.
Environment
: Our proprietary enclosure is o-ring sealed against water and chemicals to permit
use in all parlors and stanchion barns.
Various stainless steel brackets and mounting plates are available to adapt the into any milking
system.
Never allow petroleum-based fly spray or other petroleum-based products to
come into contact with the control box/flow cell/milk line shut
off. These products will damage the plastic.
Certain materials contain ingredients that will attack plastic parts. Do not expose the
plastic parts to the following but not limited to:

Iodine teat dips
•
Fly Sprays (hydrocarbon based)
•
“Super” glues (cyanoacrylates)
•
Gasoline, turpentine, brake fluids and ethers
•
Réfrigérants (R-12, R-22, R134a, etc.)
•
Loctite and similar adhesive compounds
•
Alcohol, ethanol and isopropanol
•
Phenols

Power Input:
17-30 Volts DC continuous power. The circuit board consumes about 2.5 watts. This
does not include any electric valves that may accompany the
Presto
. The voltage
delivered to external valves or solenoids is the same as the input voltage. Therefore,
care should be taken to be sure the supply voltage matches the specifications of the
valves or solenoids.
