INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Seat Belt Helper from Aidapt. The Seat Belt Helper is
manufactured from the finest materials available. When used correctly it is designed to give many years
of reliable, trouble-free service.
NB. This equipment must be installed by a competent person.
BEFORE USE
•
Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives or other sharp instruments as this may
damage the surface of the product.
•
Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use
your product, but contact your supplier for support.
FITTING AND USING THE SEAT BELT HELPER
•
Open the seat belt helper (if closed) by pushing the raised sections out of the fastening holes.
•
Fit the seat belt helper around the seat belt by pushing the raised sections through the holes
to secure it in place, with the handle extending towards you.
•
Ensure that the handle is at a comfortable position on the seat belt for you to reach with
minimal stretching or twisting.
NB. The Seat Belt Helper is designed to assist you in reaching your seat belt more easily. It must
not be used to fasten or secure your seat belt, nor is it a safety device. Always ensure that you
secure your seat belt using the buckle and fastener before every journey.
CLEANING
Clean your Seat Belt Helper using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive
cleaners or abrasive cleaning pads may damage the product beyond repair and should not be used.
Always ensure that you wipe dry the equipment after cleaning.
REISSUE
If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components for their
safety.
If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier for service
support.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns.
