 Start up the PC. As soon as it begins to boot start tapping the F8 key at one second intervals. You will 

arrive at a Selective Startup Menu.

b. 

Use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking if you are on a network. Press 

Enter on the keyboard to confirm the selection.

c. 

Wait for Windows to load up, it may take longer than usual so be patient. When it does boot up it 

should display the words “Safe Mode” in each corner of the screen and an OK dialog box explaining you 
are running in Safe Mode. Click OK on this dialog box.

d. 

Now go to Start>Settings and Control_Panel. Find the Add/Remove Programs icon and double click it. 

You should be able to see HYPERPEN Driver listed. 

e. 

Left click the Hyper Driver entry and click the Add/Remove button. Opt to completely remove the 

program.

f. 

Restart the System normally. Download alternative drivers from www.aiptek.com.tw and try installing 

them instead. Refer to
