2)
Place the AIR FLOOR AIRECELL into the floor pocket. Remove the valve cap
and lock ring to expose the threaded stem. Insert the stem through the cutout
hole and thread on the lock ring. Hand tighten. Zip the floor pocket together
and replace the zipper car split ring.
3)
Inflate the floor. Using the valve wrench from your repair kit, tighten the valve.
If the AIRECELL needs adjustment, deflate and reposition the AIR FLOOR
AIRECELL in the floor pocket.
INSTALLATION OF D-RING ATTACHMENT
To install the D-ring patch from the inside of the shell, a slot will need to be cut to
accommodate the ring. A 1/4” hole should be punched at both ends of the slot, this
will minimize any stress from the D-ring. Apply adhesive to both the patch face and
the corresponding area of the shell. Position the patch and work out any trapped air
pockets. Close the zippers and bring the boat up to pressure. The AIRECELL will
keep pressure on the patch until the adhesive has cured (overnight preferably).
HANDLE INSTALLATION
The accessory handle is designed for inside the shell attachment. Two slots will
need to be cut in the shell, through which the backing of each side of the handle will
be pushed. Working from inside of the boat shell, apply the glue to both the shell area
and the backing material of the handle. After the glue has been applied, position the
backing material so that the center edges butt together. Hold temporarily until the
glue has bonded. Close the shell and bring the boat up to pressure. The pressure
applied by the AIRECELL will hold the backing in position until the glue has cured.
