CARE
– CLEANING
3.7.1 RECOMMENDATIONS
RECOMMENDATION:
TO PREVENT CHEMICALS FROM SOAKING INTO THE
FILTERS AND EMITTING ODOURS DURING USE: TURN OFF THE MACHINE WHEN
CLEANING WITH A LIQUID, THEN LEAVE TO TRY BEFORE TURNING IT BACK ON.
DO NOT SPRAY PRODUCTS (DETERGENTS OR DISINFECTANTS) DIRECTLY ON THE
CONTROL SCREEN OR GRILLES (THIS COULD DAMAGE THE FILTERS).
WRING OUT WIPES/CLOTHS/SPONGES USED FOR CLEANING SO THEY ARE NOT
DRIPPING WET BEFORE APPLYING THEM TO THE DEVICE.
DO NOT POUR LIQUID ON THE FILTERS DURING DUSTING, DETERGENCY OR
DISINFECTION CLEANING STAGES (THIS COULD DAMAGE THE FILTERS).
DO NOT USE A VACUUM TO EXTRACT DUST FROM GRILLES (THIS COULD DAMAGE
THE FILTERS).
The
HEPA
Bulle
unit is compatible with most cleaning products (detergents and disinfectants). If using
the device specifically to manage COVID risks,
air
in
space
®
recommends cleaning it using approved
virucidal products.
The recommended cleaning frequency is:
once per week
.
You may clean it more often if the device is used in a particularly dusty environment or if it has become
visibly clogged or dirty between weekly cleanings.
3.7.2 CLEANING/DISINFECTION PROCEDURE
1.
Remove dust from the machine, especially from the intake grille (see §1.5.1 marker 4), using
a soft, lint-free cloth.
2.
Use a wipe soaked with a detergent (not too wet) and start by cleaning the intake grille. Use
a different wipe on the rest of the machine. Remove any visible dirt.
3.
Leave to dry.
4.
If using the device for COVID management, apply a virucidal disinfectant after cleaning with
detergent (also using a wipe soaked in disinfectant). Use one wipe on the top part of the intake
grille and another wipe on the rest of the machine.
5.
Leave to dry.
