Step 7
Using a flathead screwdriver,
remove the screw holding the
leaf valve to the valve plate. If
necessary, the screw can be heated
for 10-15 seconds using a propane
torch. Be sure the head and screw
have cooled completely before
continuing to Step 8.
Step 8
Discard the old leaf valves but
be sure to save the screw, square
washer and valve limiter.

Step 6
Firmly push the piston retainer plate
with piston cup into the cylinder
sleeve. Flip over to ensure the piston
cup is properly aligned within
the cylinder sleeve. Reinstall the
cylinder sleeve on the compressor
and secure the piston retainer plate
using the two new screws from your
maintenance kit (Recommended
Torque: 34-38 in lb).
