MAINTENANCE

 WARNING   

Make sure that compressor is unplugged and pressure is released before 

performing maintenance.
• Regularly inspect inlets and outlets for obstructions and for proper airflow. 

•  Clean or replace air filter every 3-6 months. Sold separately.  See Replacement 

Parts for recommended air filter.

•  Install piston maintenance kit every 12-18 months.  See Replacement Parts for 

recommended Maintenance Kits.

• When not in use store in a cool, dry location to avoid damage from moisture.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Compressor is not operating

• Check to see if the GFCI circuit tripped. 

• Check compressor capacitor for wiring frays or poor connections. 

• Check compressor power cord for damage. 

• Compressor may need to be replaced.

Compressor is running louder than normal or shakes

• Check for a dirty or clogged air filter

•  Check for low voltage while compressor is running and for proper gauge of 

power supply. Compressor should not be plugged into an extension cord. 

• Compressor may need a piston maintenance kit.
