MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Before carrying out any type of intervention
on the compressor, please observe the
safety rules.
O
Unplug the compressor before working
on rotating parts.
O
Let the tank circuit pressure out by
opening the condensation outflow tap
before dismantling the pneumatic circuit
(fig. 2). Unscrew carefully, so as to let out
the air slowly. Watch the manometer to
make sure that there is no pressure in the
air circuit.
Adequate and regular maintenance is the
condition for the proper and lasting
functioning. A summarising table of the
necessary maintenance operations has
been drawn up to ease the task
(tab. 2).
It provides information on the intervals
(“operation hours”) at which the various
maintenance operations are to be carried
out, for guaranteeing the correct functoning
of the compressor. These intervals may be
adapted to the requirements of environment
conditions.
Ordinary maintenance does not require the
intervention of
specialised technicians,
whereas check up of the pumping system
and of other important parts should
preferably be carried out by
specialised
technicians or by workers specially trained
for such intervention. You may ask the
supplier for information
OIL CHANGE
Change the oil after the first 50 hours of
operation, so as to eliminate production
residues; the following changes may be
carried out after 1000 operation hous or
every year.
AGIP SUPERDIESEL OIL is supplied with
the compressor; avoid mixing it with other
types.
Let the oil out through the oil outflow tap
placed at the basis of the system
(fig. 9).
Close the tap and insert the oil through the
inflow tap of the pumping system until the
level reaches the centre of the warning light
(fig. 10).
After closing the tap, switch on the

AIR SUCTION FILTER
(fig. 8)
Remove the dust each month or every week,
if the compressor is placed in a dusty area.
The filter cartridge works dry and may be
replaced after approximately 500 hours.
If damaged replace it by unscrewing the
fixing nut. Fix the cartridge carefully.
