FUNCTIONING
6) in the following way: if the compressor
is provided with a knob with a blocking
device for setting the desired pressure,
make sure that the knob is unblocked
before rotating it; otherwise unblock the
knob by pulling it.
When rotating clockwise the outlet
pressure increases, when rotating in the
opposite direction the pressure
decreases. If the compressor is supplied
with a jet tap, do not open or close the
air outlet by rotating the tap with pliers
or other tools which might damage the
tap B
(fig. 6); usually the tap is easy to
rotate.
There are two types of pressure
regulators with a maximum pressure of
respectively 8 and 10 bar. A higher
pressure would hamper the proper
functioning of the compressor. The
pressure level for use is shown on the
manometer A
(fig. 6), whereas the inner
tank pressure is shown by the
manometer A
(fig. 3).
n
Connect the compressor pipe to the air
outlet tap C
(fig. 6) and open it. After
using the compressor, close the tap.
DO NOT ACT AS FOLLOWS WHILE
THE COMPRESSOR IS IN OPERATION:
n
Place the compressor on inclined
surfaces.
n
Cover the compressor or place it in
areas, that cannot be aired.
n
Used the compressor under the rain or
in unfavourable weather conditions.
n
Remove the condensation outflow tap.
n
Leave tools of any kinds inside
transmission devices.
n
Direct the discharged air onto persons,
animals or volatile materials (dust,
diluents, etc.).
n
Carry out any type of maintenance
intervention.
