7.2 Maintenance
The positioner is a device that should be serviced regularly. The supply air of the positioner must be kept dry and
clean. Regularly remove condensation and contamination from the pressure regulator connected to the positioner
to maintain the correct function of the positioner.
Check the feedback connection regularly. During prolonged operation, the feedback connection may loosen due to
vibrations on the valve. Then immediately tighten the feedback port and decide on the basis of errors at zero point
and span whether an initialization should be performed again.
In order to check the operation of the positioner, keeping the pressure gauges clean.

Transport and storage
Pay attention to undamaged packaging!
Report damage to the packaging to your supplier. Keep damaged packaging until the facts are resolved.
Pay attention to undamaged content!
Check the delivery for fullness. Compare with the delivery documents and your order.
For storage and transport, the product must be packed shock-proof and protected against moisture. The original
packaging offers an optimum of protection. In addition, the permissible environmental conditions must be kept (-
40 to 80 °C, relative humidity max. 75%). Do not topple or strain the packaging.

Do not expose the device to moisture during transport.
The device must be packed accordingly.

The device must be packed in such a way that it is protected
from vibrations during transport.
3.
Store the device in the original packaging in a dry and no-tan
place. The device is additionally protected by a drying agent,
which is located in the packaging.
4.
Permanent sunlight should be avoided.
5.
The storage temperature should be b5 and 40°C at a
maximum of 75% relative humidity.
WARNING
Do not make any changes to an explosion-proof device.
