When unplugging the power supply from the socket, always pull on the plug
and never on the cable. Avoid twisting or squeezing the cable and never force
the plug into an electrical connection.
Continuous Exposure to Heat: The air-Q generates heat (approx. 1.3 watt)
during normal operation. The device meets the existing standards and limits for
surface temperatures. Avoid prolonged direct or indirect skin contact when the
device is in operation, as skin contact with warm surfaces over a long period of
time can lead to an uncomfortable feeling or burns.
Notes on the Operational Environment: To avoid damage to the housing or
internal circuitry, do not operate or store the air-Q in locations where it is
exposed to excessive amounts of dust, dirt, smoke, moisture or magnetic fields.
Keep the device away from heat sources and protect it from direct sunlight. Do
not leave it in a vehicle or in places where the temperature can exceed 50 °C
(e.g. a window sill, near a radiator outlet or behind glass that has been exposed
to direct sunlight or ultraviolet radiation for long periods of time. This can dam-
age the device and/ or create a risk of fire or explosion.
Potentially Explosive Environments: Do not operate, store or transport the
air-Q in the vicinity of flammable substances or explosives in which the concen-
tration could reach the explosion limit – e.g. at petrol stations, tank farms or
chemical plants.
Do not use the device either in locations where the air contains high concen-
trations of flammable chemicals, vapours, or particles such as grain, dust, or
metal powder. In such areas, sparks can cause an explosion or fire, resulting in
personal injury or even death.
Protection of Children: The air-Q is not a toy. Your device or the equipment
included in the scope of delivery may contain small parts, plastic parts and
sharp-edged parts that can potentially cause injury and/ or suffocation.
There are known cases in which children have strangled themselves with power
cords and connection cables. Install the cables at least one metre out of the
reach of children and do not allow them to play with the air-Q and its equip-
ment. Otherwise, you could injure yourself or others, or accidentally damage
the device. If a child swallows small parts, consult a doctor immediately.
