Timer playback
The unit can be turned on at a specified time every day with
the built-in timer.
Make sure the clock is set correctly.

Hold down SHIFT and press TIMER on the remote
control so that "
TIMER PLAY
" is displayed, and
within 6 seconds, press ENTER.

Press POWER to turn the unit off.
When the timer-on time is reached, the unit turns on and
begins play with the selected source.
•Timer play will not begin unless the power is turned off.
•External equipment connected to AUX IN jacks cannot be
turned on and off by the built-in timer of this unit. Use an
external timer.
•USB source (the personal computer connected to USB
terminal) cannot be selected for timer playback or timer
recording.

period, and press ENTER.
The timer duration can be set between 5 and 320 minutes
in 5-minute steps.
•Turning MULTI JOG on the main unit is also available
to set the timer-activated period.

to adjust the volume, and
press ENTER.
The volume can be set between 0 and MAX (31).

Prepare the source.
To play a tape, insert a tape.
To play the radio, select the band and tune in a desired
station.
To play CD or MD, load a disc.
To play external equipment connected to AUX IN jacks,
set an external timer for the equipment so that its playback
begins at the same time.
