DVD TEST MODE-1/3
The three types of the DVD test mode are prepared.
Select the desired test mode in accordance with the requirement.
1. Status/Media Display Mode
1-1. How to Start up the Status/Media Display Mode
While pressing the DVD/CD button, connect the AC plug to the power outlet.
All of the FL displays turn on and then the test mode starts.
1-2. How to Quit the Status/Media Display Mode
Disconnect the AC plug from the power outlet to exit the test mode.
Alternately, quit the test mode by the following operation.
· Press any of the FUNCTION buttons. (Buttons other than the DVD/CD button)
· Press the POWER button.
1-3. Function Descriptions
After the DVD test mode starts up, the FL display shows the message “S**M**” as described below.
“S**” indicates the status.

Description
S41
STOP status of the pickup at inner circumference.
S42
STOP status of the pickup at inner circumference with the resume data.
S43
PLAY status
S44
PAUSE status
S45
SKIP status
S46
Status of reading TOC
S47
The signal indicating completion of writing into EEPROM
S48
State that the status is not fixed yet
S49
The signal indicating disc end
“M**” indicates the types of the media.
Media display
Description
M00
Detection of media type is in progress.
M21
No disc is inserted.
If any numbers other than the above described numbers is displayed, they are all inappropriate data.
