Operating Instructions
Temperature regulation
This refrigerator has two separate temperature controls, one in the freezer and one
in the fridge compartment, so you can adjust the temperature in each compartment
separately according to the food stored. The internal temperature is controlled by a
sensor.
FIRST USE
• The first time you turn the unit on, set the temperature controls to the COLDEST
setting for 2–3 hours before loading the compartments.
• When the temperature has been reached and the thermostat starts cycling off
and on, adjust the temperature to the settings that best suit your needs and place
food in the compartments.
Freezer temperature
The freezer temperature control has three settings:
COLD, COLDER and COLDEST. COLD is the warmest
setting and COLDEST the coldest setting (Fig. 4).
• Set the freezer temperature control temporarily to
COLDEST for fast freezing, for example, when making
ice cubes, or after you have added larger quantities of
unfrozen food.
• A middle setting on COLDER is recommended for
normal usage.

NOTE
• The appliance may not operate at the set temperature on particularly hot days,
or if it is located in a particularly hot area, or if the door is opened too frequently.
• Neither the fridge nor freezer compartment works when the temperature control
in the fridge is set to OFF.
Fridge temperature
The fridge temperature control at the interior back wall
of the fridge compartment has four settings: OFF, COLD,
COLDER and COLDEST. COLD is the warmest setting,
COLDEST the coldest and OFF is off (Fig. 5).
• A middle setting on COLDER is recommended for
normal usage.
