Important Safety Instructions

Please keep this instruction manual in a safe place for future reference, along with your 

warranty card, purchase receipt and packaging box.  When correctly adhered to, these safety 

instructions reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury.

• 

Please read this manual carefully as it gives important instructions about the safety, use 

and maintenance of your appliance.

• 

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they 

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person 

responsible for their safety.

• 

Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• 

Do not leave packaging materials (plastic bags, foam, polystyrene etc.) within reach   

of children.

• 

Make sure that the data on the appliance rating plate corresponds to that of the main 

power supply and of the electrical system before plugging into the power outlet. If in 

doubt, consult with an electrician.

• 

Use adaptors, multiple plugs and extension cords only when it is absolutely necessary 

and always ensure that they are certified, conform to existing safety standards and are 

compatible with both your electrical system and with the technical data on  

 

the appliance.

• 

Any installation not conforming to these instructions may endanger your safety and 

forfeit your warranty.

• 

The appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it was designed, that is, 

preparing food for domestic use.

• 

Do not use the appliance with bare feet or wet hands or feet.

• 

Do not use the appliance anywhere other than in a domestic environment.

• 

Do not  leave use or leave the appliance outside.

• 

Never tug on the lead or the appliance itself when unplugging it from the outlet.   

Never leave the appliance unattended whilst plugged into the main power supply.

• 

Never immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquid.

• 

If the appliance malfunctions, or if the lead or plug are damaged, switch it off and 

contact an authorised Service Centre for repairs, asking for original spares. Do not 

attempt to repair the appliance, plug or lead yourself.

• 

At the end or it’s service life, unplug from the wall outlet and cut off the cord. Abide by 

local existing rules and regulations for it’s disposal.

• 

The manufacturer may not be held liable for damages to persons, animals or objects 

caused by incorrect installation or deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.

• 

Observe the 1 minute limit for continuous operation of the appliance and then rest 8 

minutes before restarting. After five 1 minute bursts, the appliance should be rested for 

an additional 30 minutes.

• 

Do not use this appliance if it has been damaged in any way. Contact the manufacturer 

or it’s service centre for advice.

• 

Do not use accessories or tools not recommended by the manufacturer.
