Important!
before disconnecting the charging terminals from the battery, the displayed
parameters must be entered on the battery test sheet in accordance with the Volkswa-
gen Group testing instructions for starter batteries.

After a pre-defined test time, the current input test ends and the results are shown
on the display:
-
the top half of the display shows the
results of the current input test
(charging bars are shown when the
result is positive)
-
the bottom half of the display shows
the relevant validation code

If the battery is classed as chargeable, the machine automatically switches to
standard charging mode. Press the Info button to view stored test parameters and
the actual charging parameters.
Test parameters are identified by the test symbol
E.g.: charging current
E.g.: battery voltage
E.g.: set battery capacity
E.g.: Battery’s ability to
accept charge, expressed
in %
E.g.: device serial number
E.g.: firmware version
E.g.: validation code
If there is no confirmation of correct pole connection within 2.5 secs, the device
reverts to menu mode.
