Record Operations (Fig 22, 23, 24).
Before using the record options, please check the two tuners (TV/PVR tuner) connections on page 8 are
correct.
Watch one channel whilst recording another.
The recorder will receive the digital signal from the PVR tuner,
and the watching channel will receive the
signal from the TV tuner. This makes it possible to watch one channel whilst recording another channel.
There are two ways to start a recording.
Press the “RECORD”
button on the remote control or the main unit, while watching the live TV. A recording
of the current channel will start after a few seconds. You may increase the recording time by pressing the
Record button again, the default time is 2 hrs.
Scheduled Recording in full EPG menu
. Enter the EPG Mode by pressing the “EPG”
button on the
remote control. Select the required programme using the

/
▼
/
►
/
◄
buttons and press the “RECORD”
button. This programme will be highlighted. More than one recording may be scheduled using this method.
Note :- only two programmes may be set at any one time to record.
Changing the viewed channel while recording.
You may use the P+ / P-
to change the watched channel whilst recording another. You cannot change the
Recorded channel once it has started. You must stop the recording to change channels.
The RECORD button.
Pressing the “RECORD”
button once will start a recording using the PVR tuner, you can
use the P+ / P-
buttons to change the viewed channel.
A second recording will start using the TV tuner if the RECORD button is pressed again. If you do set two
recordings going you can only switch between the two channels being recorded.
Note : If you wish to watch a third programme, select the third programme using the TV remote control to
select TV and you may then watch that programme without interfering with the two programmes being
recorded.

The STOP button.
Press the STOP button to stop a “time shift”
or current recording.
PVR INFO button.
Press this button to see detailed time information and a progress bar will be displayed
The buttons, Slow and Pause buttons
.
If the Time Shift is enabled by pressing the “PAUSE”
button, you may use these buttons to Fast Forward or
Fast Reverse.
