Safety information
General information
Read the operating instructions and act accordin-
gly.
Keep them for general use.
Comply with the safety information and the war-
ning on the appliance.
General safety information
Children or people who do are not acquainted with
the operating instructions are not allowed to use
the device.
Local regulations can also stipulate the minimum
age for users.
Only use the aerator on grass which has dried.
Only work in daylight or sufficiently good artificial
light.
You are
not
allowed to use the appliance if there
are people, in particular children or animals, in the
working area.
The user of the appliance is responsible for acci-
dents with other people or their property.
Preparatory measures
Wear suitable working clothes and solid shoes.
Before using the appliance, always make a visual
check of fitting parts (screws, nuts) and the cutting
unit (wear, damage).
Damaged or worn parts must be replaced immedi-
ately - only use original spare parts.
Only use the appliance in the technical state pres-
cribed by the manufacturer.
Do not put safety devices or safety appliances out
of operation.
Before aerating, all foreign bodies must be remo-
ved from the lawn.
Also pay attention to foreign bodies during the
aerating.
The connection line of the appliance must
be checked regularly for signs of damage
and may only be used in a flawless condi-
tion.
Operating the appliance on mains sockets without
a residual current operated device is inadmissible.
Admissible max. release current: 30 mA.
Connection lines to the following specification:
Minimum cross-section: 3 x 1.5 mm

than rubber-sheathed cables (HO5 RN-F to DIN /
VDE 0282) or connection lines proven to be suita-
ble for lawn-mowers.
Plugs and couplings must be made of rubber or
coated with rubber and correspond to DIN / VDE
0620.
The plug appliance must be protected against
splashing. Damage, brittle or twisted connection
lines are inadmissible -
danger to life!
Operation
In order to start the appliance, the cutting device
must be completely free to move.
Do not put hands and feet in the vicinity of rotating
parts.
The use of the appliance is only permitted if the
safety distance provided by the guide bar is com-
plied with.
Always guide the connection line safely.
Ensure that you have a good stand, especially on
slopes.
Only guide the machine at walking pace.
Do not aerate on steep slopes.
Always aerate at an angle to the slope - not
upwards and downwards!
Never tip or transport the appliance with the motor
running - wait till the cutting device has come to a
standstill and pull the plug out.
In any work on the appliance:
Switch the motor off, wait till the cutting device
has come to a standstill and pull the plug out.
Never leave the appliance unattended.
Pull the plug out when leaving the appliance.
If you use a grass box:
Before positioning and removing the grass box,
switch the motor off and wait till the cutting device
has come to a standstill.
Spare parts and accessories
Only original spare parts and original accessories
are to be used.
Repairs to the appliance may only be done by an
authorised workshop.
Right to alterations of construction and finish
reserved.
