The AL-KO cable winch is suitable for easy lifting,
raising and pulling of various loads without jerking
and mainly as a trailer winch.
AL-KO cable winches can be used for different
purposes. The manufacturer or user must check
which regulations are applicable to these different
purposes. I.e. the PURCHASER OF THE CABLE
WINCH MUST CHECK whether the product has the
properties to meet with his individual require-
ments.

• Only touch the wire cables when wearing protec-
tive gloves!
• The rope (belt) must only be wound up so far
under load that a flanged wheel overhang of at
least 1.5 x cable diameter is guaranteed
(Illustration 2).
• The cable must be wound round the drum at
least twice under load (Illustration 3).
• Do not oil or grease the brake mechanism!
• Only used approved end fittings. (Illustration 9).

Tighten hexagon nut until clamping
effect occurs (min. torque 5 Nm -
max. torque 10 Nm).
Replace the cable clamp each time
the cable is replaced.

Note: Only rope end connections conforming to
specification may be used.

belt can be used instead of the cables.

7 times the towing load given (bottom cable
position). A certificate from the belt manufacturer
is required for this!
