Help in case of malfunctions
1. Switch off the appliance and remove the
spark plug connector.
2. Remove safety pin (34/1).
3. Remove the damaged shear pin (34/2).
4. Inspect the shaft for damage.
5. Insert a new shear pin (34/2) and secure with
safety pin (34/1).

HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONS
CAUTION! Risk of injury.
Sharp-edged
and moving appliance parts can lead to injury.

Always wear protective gloves during mainte-
nance, care and cleaning work!
■
Switch off the engine and check that the en-
gine is at a standstill!
■
Remove the spark plug connector!
NOTE
For malfunctions that are not listed
in this table or that you cannot resolve yourself,
please contact our customer service.

Move the throttle lever to
the “Start” position.
Switch on the choke and
press the primer button.
Service the spark plug.

Wheel drive

Do not store the appliance close to naked
flames or sources of heat.
Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use
and – if present – attach all covers. Store the ap-
pliance in a dry, lockable place out of the reach of
children.
If the appliance is to be stored for a prolonged
period, such as after the winter, the following op-
erations are necessary to prevent damage:

Draining the carburettor:

Start the engine.
■
Close the fuel cock.
■
Wait until the engine stops.
