GENERAL MAINTENANCE RULES
•Keep the boiler room clean.
•Clean the filters on the fuel line every week with clean light oil.
•Clean the pump filter at least once every year.
•Remove any particles of soot etc. which may accumulate in the slots of the diffuser
disc.
•Remove the burner nozzle once every 10-15 days and clean with light oil. Keep the
removed nozzles in clean light oil for a while. It is recommended that you always have a
spare nozzle available.
•
In order to ensure proper and efficient combustion, it is recommended that you replace
the nozzle(s) once every three months.
•Clean smoke pipes and combustion chamber during the monthly maintenance.
•Check the condition of boiler combustion chamber once a month and clean at yearly
maintenance.
•Have your chimney cleaned and make the overall maintenance of your burner at the
end of every heating season.
• The CO
2
content of flue gases must be measured once a month, and the AIR/FUEL
arrangement may then be readjusted, if required.
•It is recommended that oil hoses should renewed by yearly maintenance. If hydraulic
hoses are used they should be replaced whenever they show signs of wear.
•Check the electrodes.If they seem deformed or damaged replace with new.
•Water and dirt accumulation, at the bottom of the oil tank must be checked weekly.
Build up of dirt and water will effect the continued operation of the burner.
