OXYGEN CORROSION
The presence of oxygen in the boiler water causes corrosion. The oxygen from
the first filling water or the next two fillings of water to the boiler generally does
not cause much damage. The main damaging factors are below;
a) Continuous supply of fresh water to the system
b) Using plastic pipes without oxygen barrier
c) Using an open expansion tank
d) Air entering from vacuum-forming areas
If it is not possible to remove the above factors in the heating installation, the
boiler and the installation must be separated from each other by a plate heat
exchanger.
Damages caused by the presence of oxygen in the boiler water are not covered
by the warranty.
