Installation guide
The antenna for GSM and GPS is built into the tracker. Please note that the install location will affect its ability to receive the signal.
Normally the back seat pockets, arm rest compartment or under the back window are good places. Operation within metal
enclosed areas will yield disappointing results or complete failure. The tracker has a built in high capacity Li-ion battery, one
recharge lasts about 5-7 days. Also, you can connect and recharge the tracker to a 12V car battery or mains using the supplied
adaptors. There is also an optional accessory fixed wire 12v/24v adaptor (AHW-14P) available for permanent connection.
Notes
The tracker has built in GSM and GPS modules, so please power off the tracker in areas that restrict using mobile phones, such
as on the plane, hospital, petrol station etc.
The GPS module needs 10-200 seconds to locate the position. When the GSM signal is weak or the network is very busy, the
SMS maybe delayed by the GSM network, this is normal.
Large metal areas or enclosures can seriously reduce the signal of GPS and GSM and please also keep the unit away from the
magnetic components.
