BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging materials and retain for future use.
Warning!
Packaging materials are not toys. Children should not play with the packaging materials, as they pose
a risk of swallowing and suffocation!
2. Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
3. Check for the presence of all parts and for transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery, please
contact your dealer (
→
Warranty).
4. Unwind the power cord from the cord storage (8) underneath the toaster.
Run the power cord through the recess on the bottom of the toaster (fig. 1).
5. Make sure the crumb tray (2) is put in place.
6. Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet.
7. Allow the appliance to complete several toasting cycles without food (
→
Operation), until no odor or smoke is present. During toasting, ensure
ample ventilation and select the highest setting (toast level 6).
