CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning, make sure to disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet and let it cool
completely.
Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scours, or metal or sharp tools to clean the
crumb tray (2), bread-roll warming rack (9) or the appliance housing.

How to clean...
Crumb tray (2)
•
Remove from the appliance and dispose of crumbs.
•
Rinse with clean water and a little mild detergent.
•
Let dry completely before inserting into the appliance.
Bread-roll warming rack (9) •
Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet.
•
After the bread-roll warming rack (9) is cool, remove it from the toaster.
•
Clean with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent.
•
Use a clean cloth to wipe the rack again to make sure no detergent is left.
•
Let it dry completely.
Housing
•
Turn the appliance upside down and shake slightly to remove remaining
crumbs.
•
Clean with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent.
•
Let dry completely.
Storage
•
Before storage, always make sure the appliance has already been disconnected from the electrical outlet and
cooled completely.
•
Wind the power cord around the cord storage (8) underneath the appliance.
•
Store the appliance in a cool and clean place, preferably in its original package.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem

Toast lever (7) is not locked in place.

Connect the power plug to a suitable
electrical outlet.

Press the toast lever (7) downward until
it locks in place.
Bread slices are
undercooked / over-
cooked.
•
The selected browning setting is
too low / high.
•
Choose a higher/lower setting.
Slight burning odor
gives out during use.
•
Due to the manufacturing process, the appliance may emit a slight burning odor during
the first several uses. This is normal and does not indicate any defect or hazard.
