You can adjust the volume of the channel you are watching
using the 'VOL+' and 'VOL-' buttons. When you press these
buttons, your TV will display a bar showing the volume level,
(see left).

Press the 'VOL+' button to increase the volume.

Press the 'VOL-' button to reduce the volume.
You can turn the volume on and off using the MUTE button.

Press the 'MUTE' button to turn the volume off
completely.

Press the 'MUTE' button again to turn the volume on
again (or press the 'VOL+' or 'VOL-' button to
increase the volume gradually.
Note The mute function will always reset to 'off' when
you switch the set-top box on.
How to use subtitles
You can set the set-top box to show subtitles on the TV screen.
Where subtitles appear on the TV screen will vary according to
the programme you are watching. Subtitles will appear on the
TV screen for other channels when you select them, until you
turn the subtitles off.
