and in the cockpit. The aft end of the bridge deck is lifted and
lowered by the electric actuator.
The bridge deck is designed to raise high enough to provide
adequate access to service the components in the engine
compartment. It lifts high enough to cause the helm pedestal
seat to hit the helm module when it is lifted to the full up
position if the seat is not in the full aft position. This can cause
severe damage to the seat, helm and bridge deck. Therefore,
it is critical that the helm seat be in the full aft position before
raising the bridge deck and that you monitor the clearance for
the seat as deck is raised.
Livewell
A circulating livewell is located on the port side of the
cockpit. The hatch is equipped with a gas charged hatch
lifter that holds the hatch in the open or closed position.
The livewell is supplied by a raw water circulating pump
and drains overboard. A stand pipe in the livewell controls
the water level. Refer to the Raw Water System chapter for
additional information on the livewell system. The livewell is
drained by gravity to a thru hull fitting in the hull side above
the waterline.
A storage compartment with a lockable door for dunnage and
tackle is built into the livewell.
Tackle/Bait Prep Station
A bait prep station equipped with tackle storage is on the
starboard side of the cockpit. The tackle locker is built into
the tackle/bait prep station and has storage drawers and tackle
storage.
Stern Seat (Optional)
Your boat could be equipped with an optional stern bench
seat. The seat is designed with hinged support legs that allow
the seat to fold against the rear of the cockpit when it is not
in use.
To use the seat, raise the seat base and swing the legs to the
down position. Then lower the seat until the legs contact the
cockpit sole. To fold the seat to the stored position, raise the
seat and swing the legs to the stored position and secure them
in the plastic clips. The seat can now be folded against the
rear of the cockpit.
The stern seat can be removed by removing the hinge bolts
with the seat in the folded position.
Transom Door (Optional)
The transom door is incorporated into the transom. A
magnetic latch holds the door in the full open position and a
special latch mounted on the inboard side of the door secures
it when it is closed. The door latch has a spring loaded safety
pin. When the transom door is closed, make sure the latch is

completely closed and that the safety pin is snapped into place
to prevent the latch from opening accidentally.
The transom door should only be opened when the boat is not
in motion. The door must be latched in either the full “OPEN”
or full “CLOSED” position. Never leave the transom door
unlatched.
Note: Periodically inspect the transom door hinges and
hardware for wear, damage, or loose fit. Any
problems should be inspected and corrected
immediately.
THE TRANSOM DOOR SHOULD bE CLOSED
AND PROPERLY LATCHED WHENEVER THE
ENGINES ARE RUNNING. NEVER OPEN THE
TRANSOM DOOR WHILE UNDERWAY OR IN ROUGH
SEA CONDITIONS. IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS,
AN OPEN TRANSOM DOOR COULD ALLOW A
SUbSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF WATER TO ENTER THE
COCKPIT CREATING A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS
CONDITION.
