b. Correct Tone (CT)

different subtone as yours.
Clone (transmit complete settings to another radio)
Settings of your radio (except identity code) can be transmitted from one Tectalk Pro to the
other (only in advanced mode). For this purpose, the TCC-1000 cloning cable is necessary
(optionally available).
•
Connect both radios with the TCC-1000 cloning cable.
•
Turn on the radio whose settings shall be transmitted (=master), press
MODE
13 times out of the Advanced Menu, until
“CL”
appears on the
display. With
UP
- or
DOWN
select „
OUT
“ and confirm with
PTT.
•
Turn on the second radio, that shall receive the settings of the first one (=slave).
Press
MODE
several times until
“CL”
is displayed.
Select “IN”
and confirm with
PTT
. The green LED is on and the radio is prepared to receive settings.
•
Press PTT of the master radio, green LED will turn off and you will hear a short
confirmation beep.
•
After successful transmission turn off both radios, disconnect the cable. The “slave”
radio now is set with the same parameters as the “master” radio.
Channel scan
Press
SCAN
button to start. Channel scan will only be stopped by deactivation of Scan
function. The radio will scan through all 8 channels. On detection of an active channel, the
scan will be stopped for the time set in
Scan Pause Timer
. Pressing
PTT
allows answering
during scan stop. Scan will continue after approx. 15 sec. In order to continue scan
immediately, press
UP
- or
DOWN
. Press PTT during scan to return to the primary channel.
CTCSS/DCS-subtone scan
With CTCSS/DCS-subtone-scan it is possible to receive messages with subtones on the
relevant channel and answer to them with the same subtone. Press
MODE
until the
CTCSS
resp. DCS number flashes on the display. Shortly press
SCAN
. The radio now scans all 50
CTCSS tones and 104 DCS-codes on this channel. If an active signal is detected, the radio
pauses during 5 sec. on this position. By pressing
PTT
during this pause, you will
automatically transmit with this subcode, so that you can answer directly to the radio station
found during scanning the subtones/ DCS.
PC programmable functions (by your dealer)
Some functions of the device are programmable by PC with special programmer software for
authorised service places. PC programming may be useful if certain functions for professional
users, for example individual CTCSS, DSC or channel number(s) shall be fixed.
