Step 2:
Enter the name for new policy map in the
Policy Name
field.
Step 3:
Enter description for the new policy map in the
Description
field.
(optional)
Step 4:
You can create an Auto QoS VoIP/Diff-serv template policy. Select the
Use template to automatically generate class-maps for this policy
check box,
and select
Diff-serv/VoIP
option from the drop-down list.
Auto-QoS template creates a set of match-lists, traffic classes and a policy map
automatically. You can edit or modify these match-lists and class maps. The policy
is not applied on to the interface automatically - you have to explicitly apply this
template on an interface.
Note:
The match-list, class maps, and the traffic classes thus created will be suffixed with
the respective policy-map name.
Based on the selection,
Auto QoS Diff-serv Template - Policy/Auto QoS VoIP
Template - Policy is displayed in the
Description
field. This is not editable.
Step 5:
Click
Apply
to create a new policy map.
Step 6:
By default, the default-class exists for a policy map, and is displayed in
the Policy Map Traffic Classes table.
Step 7:
If the Auto QoS template option is selected, the automatically created
traffic classes are displayed in the Policy Map Traffic Classes table.
