Reversing the Sliding Clamp Rail to clamp larger objects
(0-890mm)
1. Ensure that the clamp locking lever (11) is in the unlock position (Fig J).
2. Using the rail push handle (1) extend the sliding clamp rail (2) to the end
of the clamping stand.
NOTE:
When removing the sliding clamp rail (2) from the end of the
clamping jaws, the safety slider (3) will engage locking the sliding clamp
rail (2) before it can be fully extended and removed. This is a safety
feature to ensure the slide clamp rail (2) does not come straight off the
end of the clamping jaws and hence possibly causing injury.
3. Using your finger, push up the safety slider (3) to allow release of the
sliding clamp rail (2) from the end of the clamping jaws (Fig O).
4. Turn the sliding clamp rail (2) around 180 ˚then re-install the sliding
clamp rail (2) back onto the clamping jaws (Fig P) ensuring that the
sliding clamp rail (2) is positioned over the 2 ball bearings located on each
side at the end of the clamping jaws to ensure the sliding clamp rail (2) is
correctly engaged (Fig Q).
