Interpupillary Distance Setting
The distance between the eyes, called the interpupillary
distance, varies from person to person. To achieve the
perfect alignment of the eyepieces to your eyes, follow
the steps below.
1. Remove the 4 protective caps from both the
eyepieces and the objective lenses.
2. Hold the Binoculars in the normal observation
(viewing) position. The interpupillary distance range is
located on the centre of the Binoculars between the
left and right eyepieces (Fig. 11).
NOTE: There is a marking on the right of the interpupillary distance range on the
Binoculars. Your interpupillary distance is where this marking aligns with the
measurement on the interpupillary distance range. It is recommended to take note of
your interpupillary distance for future reference.
3. Grasp the left and right barrels firmly and move the barrels closer together or further
apart until you see a singular circular field of view (Fig. 12 and Fig. 13).
NOTE: The range of interpupillary distance adjustment is 60-70mm. The range is
located in the centre of the front of the Binoculars.
NOTE: Improper alignment of the interpupillary distance will result in double images.
NOTE: If another person uses the Binoculars, they will need to adjust the interpupillary
distance for their eyes.
NOTE: Before each use it is recommended to adjust the interpupillary distance for your eyes.
