Mounting the protective cap (wall)
− Before use assemble the two protective caps with the two
supplied screws (see
Fig. I).
− NEVER use the ladder without the protective caps.
Mounting the support foot
CAUTION!
Injury to persons and damage to property!
The ladder can fall over during the assembly of the support foot. In
the process, it can lead to damage to property or injury to persons.
− Take care during the assembly of the support foot that the
ladder does not fall over.
− If necessary, get assistance from a second person for assembly.
1. Place the support foot

with the non-slip caps

on the ground (see
Fig. H).
2. Put the beams

on the support foot in such a way that the mounting holes of
the beams and the support foot align.
3. Put the cup head square neck bolts

through the mounting holes.
4. Fasten the bolts with the nuts.
− ATTENTION! – The following points are to be examined before
using the telescopic ladder:
• Check that the side rails / legs (upright parts) / rungs / top
bar / support foot are not bent, curved, distorted, dented,
cracked, corroded or decaying.
• Check that the fixation points with other parts on the
side rails / legs / rungs/ top bar / support foot are in good
condition.
• Check that fastenings (usually rivets, screws, bolts) are not
missing or loose or corroded.
• Check that the side rails / legs / rungs / top bar / support foot
are not missing or loose, worn down, corroded or damaged.
