Using the USB Duplicator
Main Menu
6.1 Format FAT
This function is used to format flash drives with the duplicator. If the
original format is FAT, then the format operation will not change the format,
but will write over any data on the flash drive.
If the format is not FAT (e.g. NTFS, Linux, or FAT multi-partition) the
controller will check the capacity of the flash drive. If the capacity is greater
than 2GB, it will automatically use FAT 32 format. If the capacity is less
than 2GB, it will use FAT 16.
1. Load the flash drives into the USB Duplicator. Use the
UP
or
DOWN
arrow to scroll through the menu until Utility is displayed on the LCD
screen.
2. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
arrow keys to check the status of any of the
flash drives loaded in the machine. Drives inserted in the first port
(source) will not be formatted.
