1.6 Firmware update step
The CD-Twin has provided firmware for master controller, CD-ROM device and
CD-RW device. Update steps as follow statement:
1.6.1 Update file define
i.
Master controller: CB9100_V1.0X.EPO
ii.
CD-ROM device: CDROM_331X.EPO
iii.
CD-RW device: CDRW_TB5X.EPO
1.6.2 Update step statement
i.
First, copy firmware update files to blank disc.
ii.
Choice function of 5. System and press “Start” key.
iii.
Choice 5.3 Upgrade BIOS item and press “Start” key.
iv.
Choice want to update Master controller or device and press “Start” key.

v.
Put into update disc to CD-ROM or CD-RW.
Note: if you put into wrong disc, the LCD will show error message as below:

The machine detect the latest BIOS version, it will automatically update the old
BIOS to a new one. That LCD will display as follow:
5.3.1 System BIOS

5.3.2 Reader BIOS
CD-ROM update
Wrong massage:
Please put into update disc
Identify for update disc
Waiting for update disc
Update BIOS to Flash ROM
New BIOS update finish and
Re-boot system
WARNING:
When CD-Backup is updating BIOS, DO NOT press power button,
otherwise the machine will not boot up again.
