Above is a suggested setup configuration for the Surge Cymbals with an Alesis DM5 Pro Kit and DM5 Drum Module. Simply
connect your Surge Cymbal(s) to the input(s) on the module with the same name. Note that the ride cymbal in this diagram is
connected to two inputs: one labeled “Ride” and another labeled “Conga.” This is a common configuration for DM5 Drum
Module users since it works with one of its presets. Be sure each zone on the ride cymbal (the “bow” and the bell) triggers the
proper sound.
