Energy 18 – User Guide
3.8 Problems with manoeuvring the vessel
The use of illegal drugs and/or alcohol hampers the safe conduction of the vessel and is
also the most common cause of accidents with severe and tragic injuries. The influence of
these substances increases in the strong sun, wind and waves, as well as other weather
features and leads to irrational and too slow reactions to the dangers on water, resulting
in an inevitable accident.
Therefore, it is very important that the person conducting the vessel is fully focused,
sober, has had enough rest and is entirely concentrated on the navigation.
