Safety & Use

To maximize fun and safety during use of the FireHotTub,
please follow our installation guidelines and ensure that all
safety measures are met.

1. Environment

-Decide in advance where you would like to place your
new tub. Remember that the area must be clear of brush
and debris, on a flat solid surface, in the open air (not
underneath a shelter or roof) and ONLY outdoors.
-Consider recycling the water by draining directly into your
garden or on your lawn. (You can connect your garden
hose to the tub.)

3. Fire & Water Temperature

-The FireHotTub burns real wood. Consider the dangers of
an open flame around plants, pets, and children.
-Water temperature should not exceed 100 degrees
Fahreneit (38 degrees Celsius). Given that the tub does not
have a thermal indicator, it is up to you to ensure water
safety before entering the tub. Please wait for water to cool
before draining.
-Drain the FireHotTub after each use in order to prevent
growth of dangerous bacteria.
-To avoid damage to the heating coil, ensure that the
tub is filled with water before igniting a fire inside the coils.
Extinguish the fire completely before draining the tub.

2. Installation & More

-DO NOT attempt to move the FireHotTub while it is filled
with water.
-Observe the direction of the wind and ensure that heating
coil is installed away from wind.
-Tub should be placed on a solid surface with a minimum
total load-bearing capacity of 2810lbs (1275kg).
-Hot water may spill from the rims when multiple people are
in the tub. Ensure that the surface the tub is on will not melt
if water spills.
