SERVICE INFORMATION
Repair and service must be carried out regularly, as this prolongs the life span of the mounting table.
The following checks must be carried out before each use of the table:
• The various parts of the mounting table must not be bent or flexed.
• Test the brakes for functionality and check the wheels for wear and tear.
• Lubricate movable wear parts before use.
• In case of defects the repairs should be carried out immediately
• Pipe leads should be lubricated once a month.
• Check the housing for cracks and break, inspect the connection cable for crushing, shearing and the strain
relief device with kink protection especially after every mechanical stress load. To avoid endangerment the
• manufacturer or a qualified person must replace appliance connection cables, which are damaged.
• Clean plastic surfaces, for instance those of the housing, only with a slightly dampened cloth (See chapter
9, Cleaning).
• Charge up accu AC 4.5 before use. Always use a Dewert plug in charger PB 4.5. The integrated charging
circuit will fully and automatically load the battery.
• Repeated recharging and discharging of the batteries may be necessary after a longer storage period to
ensure that efficiency is restored.
• Storage time is a maximum of 6 months at recommended storage temperature. The battery should be recharged
after this. The battery should be recharged sooner when the storage temperature is higher than recommended.
This should avoid a deep discharge, which could cause irreparable damage to the power pack.
Maintenance Information
• Always store the accu AC 4.5 in a clean and dry environment. Do not short-circuit the accu AC 4.5.
Store the accu AC 4.5 in such a way that the connections cannot short-circuit each other or can be
short-circuited by metal objects.
• Do not expose the accu AC 4.5 to mechanical vibration.
• Do not use any other than the recommended charging unit.
• Do not allow the accu AC 4.5 to come into contact with organic solvents such as for instance thinners,
alcohol, oil and anti-rust agents, such as chemical detergents.
• Save the original documents for future enquiries.
• The accu AC 4.5 performs at its optimum capacity when the product is used in normal room temperature
conditions (20°C to 25°C).
• Do not immerse the accu AC 4.5 in water and do not store it in a damp, but in a dry and cool place; the
recommended air humidity should be about 50 %.
• Only use the accu AC 4.5 for its specific purpose.
