SECURITY WARNINGS
OUTDOOR USE ONLY !
This patio heater must be installed according to the instructions in this manual and in
compliance with the applicable legislation. Keep this manual for future reference.
• Never use this appliance indoors: there is a serious risk of personal injury.
• Never place the gas cylinder inside the housing when using the appliance.
• Never store the gas bottle indoors.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation holes in the cylinder housing.
• Do not move the appliance when in use.
• This appliance must be kept away from flammable materials during use.
• Close the gas cylinder valve or regulator before moving the appliance.
• The appliance may be moved once it has been switched off, the gas supply has been shut off and the
appliance has been allowed to cool down completely.
• Do not modify the appliance or its structural components in any way.
• Do not operate the appliance until all gas connections and fittings have been checked.
• Do not paint the radiation shield, control panel or reflector.
• This appliance must be installed and the gas cylinders stored following applicable regulations.
• Use only the type of gas and cylinder specified by the manufacturer.
• Repairs must be supervised and spare parts supplied by Alice’s Garden Service.
• In the event of strong winds, precautions must be taken to prevent the appliance from tipping over.
• The gas setpoint must be changed in a ventilated area and away from any source of ignition (candles,
smoke, other flaming devices, etc.).
• Check the integrity of the regulator, the seals and the conformity of the installation, so that the regulator
can fulfil its function.
• Close the valve on the gas cylinder or regulator after use.
• In case of a gas leak, the appliance must not be used; if the appliance is in operation, the gas supply must
be shut off immediately and the appliance must be cleaned. If the appliance is in operation, the gas supply
must be shut off immediately and the entire system inspected. Once the leak has been repaired and the
gas circuit has been checked, you can use your heater again.
• Check the gas hose at least once a month and every time you change the gas cylinder. If the gas hose is
cracked, split or otherwise damaged (damaged joints or other damage), it should be replaced. If this hose shows
cracks, splits or is otherwise damaged (damaged or loose joints), it must be replaced with a certified hose.
• The hose must be replaced according to the instructions on the hose.
• We advise you to carefully inspect your parasol heater before its first use and to check it thoroughly at least
once a year. It is necessary to maintain and clean it regularly. It is also important to regularly check the
control panel, burner and air circulation openings and clean them if necessary
Do not place the gas locker in the housing while the appliance is in use.
