use DHCP:
[ON/ OFF]
Allocation of IP address, default : 192.168.2.86
“ON“
when starting up the program an IP address via DHCP server is requested once. If the request fails, the default IP
address is used.
“OFF“
The default IP address is used.
IP address:
[0.0.0.0 ... 192.168.2.86 ... 255.255.255.255]
A default IP address for the case that “use DHCP“ is set to “OFF“, or no DHCP server could be reached.
IP subnet mask:
[0.0.0.0 ... 255.255.255.0 ... 255.255.255.255]
The mask corresponding to the IP address.
IP gateway:
[0.0.0.0 .. 255.255.255.255]
IP address for a possibly used gateway in the network. The definition of a gateway address is only required if the device is to
send SNMP traps to a server that is accessible via a gateway only.
SNMP Trap IP address:
[0.0.0.0 .. 255.255.255.255]
IP address to a possilble used SNMP trap manager. Important device functions are constantly monitored and possibly
forwarded as an SNMP trap to a superior manager. Depending on hardware, the following system messages can be sent:
ENCODER ASI-IN

EncA no input
ASI-IN overrun

Fig. 8: Standard operating mode (EMA 408 , 508, 608, 708)
Setting the operating mode is based on the equipped hardware. Changes in this section need to be saved (“Save to Device“) to
adapt the relevant configuration entries.
PSI Mode:
[DVB/ ATSC]
Multiplexer mode according to the national transmission standard
ASI Main Input:
[OFF/ Loop
→
TS Out/ Mux with Intern/ Flt-DROP & MUX]
“OFF“
Input deactivated;
“Loop
→
TS Out“
Loop-through of the signal ASI-IN
→
TS Out;
“Mux with Intern“
All services of the TS at the ASI input can be multiplexed with the internally generated services to a common TS.
„Flt-DROP & MUX“
Selected
services of the TS at the ASI input can be multiplexed with the internally generated services to a common TS.
The selection of the filtered out services is done via “Drop Services“ in the header of the configuration.
Warning:
If there are overlaps of the PID/ SID the relevant services of the TS from ASI-IN will be deleted.
To avoid the
consequences of this PID collision, use the menu „table script“ (p. 18). Automatically assigned PID‘s of the internal encoder
A ... D can be modified here (PID remapping).
Slot A..D (Encoder moduls):
[OFF/ CVBS/ SDI, emb. Audio / SDI, analouge Audio / [ASI-TS ]/ [CVBS-SPDIF] / [SDI-SPDIF] /
Intern / Transcoder / Decoder]
The hardware configuration is automatically detected. The purpose of their possible modes are provided.
“OFF“
The module is deactiviated.
